Background of the implementation
There were issues with safety and maintainability in the existing system.
In an environment where rearranging the layout in the warehouse was not easy, there were maintenance challenges with a sorting system that was almost fixed equipment. Additionally, there were safety issues with the existing system, leading to the selection of SAS.
The cost of the existing system was high, and it was necessary to review the expenses.
There were cost issues with the existing system, so we decided to switch to AIOI's SAS, which allows us to handle system implementation and equipment installation in-house to reduce implementation costs.
The deciding factor for implementation
Selected for its cost-effectiveness.
We had been using the existing system, but after considering cost-effectiveness, we decided to adopt SAS because of its good cost performance.
Offers high maintainability.
For large-scale systems, handling issues during troubles can be challenging. However, in the case of SAS, the ability to perform maintenance in-house is a significant advantage, which led to its implementation.
Easy to propose to customers.
Due to its cost-effectiveness and high maintainability, it is not only suitable for our company but also makes it easier to propose to Kantsu's customers.
Impact after implementation
Easy to handle.
It can be installed and set up in-house, and it has high maintainability.
It is easy to propose implementations tailored to the site.
SAS allows for the selection of installation methods tailored to the site (not only pipes, but also shelf installation), making it easy to propose to customers.
Productivity has improved through the integration of Kantsu's software with Aioi's SAS.
By integrating the logistics management system "Cloud Thomas" with SAS, we achieved improved productivity by reducing walking distance through total pick assort and significantly reducing errors with SAS.
