  • A worker-friendly system integrated with material handling equipment was needed.

Impact after implementation
  • Sorting accuracy improved with the DAS system.

  • Achieving sorting of up to 186 users in one batch.

  • Contributes to labor-saving and automation.

Background of the implementation

Measures to reduce manpower were an urgent priority.

As the situation becomes increasingly challenging to secure workers year by year, we want to build a system that is effective for automation.

We want to improve productivity and increase accuracy.

We have been sorting with a simple DAS system so far, but we want to improve work productivity and sorting accuracy.

We want to implement a system that reduces the workload for workers.

We want to reduce the burden on workers by minimizing walking paths.

The deciding factor for implementation

Development of a system that can handle a large number of sortings in a single batch is needed.

In a field where a large number of sorting tasks for small items, large items, and irregularly shaped items occur, there were no proposals from other companies that met the site's requirements. AIOI provided a system proposal tailored to the requirements and was adopted.

A worker-friendly system integrated with material handling equipment was needed.

We constructed a system combining DPS and Peace Sorter. Sorting is simple: after scanning the product, it is simply placed on the conveyor belt. With minimal training, anyone can sort immediately, leading to reduced burden.

Impact after implementation

Sorting accuracy improved with the DAS system.

By combining DPS and Peace Sorter, it became possible to sort flyers with the Peace Sorter, leading to a significantly improved sorting accuracy compared to manual work.

Achieving sorting of up to 186 users in one batch.

Small items were sorted using the Peace Sorter. By digitizing flyer picking with DPS and linking it with the Peace Sorter, stoppers were installed in the chute section, dividing it into 2 openings per chute. By packaging the sorted chutes and making them empty, a system was built that can sort up to 186 users in one batch.

Contributes to labor-saving and automation.

Combining it with the sorter reduces the burden on workers. With a simple DAS system, anyone can easily perform the tasks, contributing to labor shortage issues.
