Pick to Light System

This is a activity support system that aims to improve the efficiency of picking and sorting operations.
By attaching a light module to the Rack , the picking simply goes to the place where the light module light is on and picking(sorting) the number of items displayed, improving activity speed and accuracy.
By linking with a higher-level WMS, the Pick to Light System makes it possible to grasp picking results and Rack inventory data in real time.

Our unique wire-saving network system can transmit data and power over two wires, allowing data communication with PCs and PLCs, and making it easy to set up a network. It can also supply power to external devices, making it possible to connect any device. With over 1,000 models available, we can suggest a light module that matches any site. In addition, we can easily incorporate new light module into an already-built Pick to Light System network to accommodate changes in the customer's site.

Some models are equipped with five different lamps so that instructions can be given to different activity at the same time. Depending on the combination of devices, up to seven colors are possible.
We also support simultaneous activity by multiple people through operations such as dividing the work into blocks, and will propose the optimal system to suit your on-site operations.

The basic configuration is a PC, application software, a controller, and a barcode scanner. It can also be controlled under a PLC. The configuration varies depending on the site.

The wireless type can be freely installed on picking carts, pallet, roll box pallet, containers, etc. We will make suggestions based on the activity content and on-site environment.

Because the display uses electronic paper, the battery life is long, with the basic model lasting over 100 hours, so you only need to charge it once a week. *Charging times vary depending on the model.
A wireless light module with five LED lamps for simultaneous activity by multiple people will last approximately 20 hours and will need to be charged after a day's activity.

Shutter Assortment System （SAS)

This is a light module that adds an open/close shutter function to the MWU series. It can greatly reduce picking and sorting errors. Both front-opening and back-opening are available.

Various settings of the light module such as opening/closing angle, speed, address setting, etc. can be made with one touch on a control PC using a dedicated app, or on a smartphone or HHT using NFC communication. Settings can also be changed by operating the buttons on the light module.

It is possible to add SAS to an existing system. It can also be used in combination with light module, Projection Picking System（PPS） ® , AGVs, etc.

Number of units that can be connected to the system: 5,120 units per controller, maximum 115 units per EJB, maximum 23 units per channel. Simultaneous opening and Activity is limited to 6 units per JB. If the number of simultaneous opening and closing units increases, the maximum number will decrease proportionally.

Projection Picking System（PPS）

This picking system uses image processing technology to display picking and sorting instructions, text and images, not only on Rack and rack of various shapes, but also on the floor, and can sound audio alerts to alert you to careless mistakes.

The lineup is divided into types: 2D sensing, 3D sensing, and image sensing.
There are two main types of projector illumination methods.
(1) Ultra-short-focus projector that does not cast shadows on activity even when projecting light at close range

With the AIOI projector (PP0207), it is possible to project a maximum of 170 inches (3600mm x 2300mm), the equivalent of two AGV-dedicated Rack or two medium-weight Rack. *Our recommended value is 150 inches.

Since electronic paper is used, no power is consumed for display. Data is rewritten by wireless power supply from a smartphone or HHT. The electronic paper display will remain semi-permanently until it is rewritten.

They can be used in a variety of situations, such as logistics container labels, as manufacturing instructions on factory production lines, as a replacement for paper Kanban system, as ID cards, employee ID cards, etc. By introducing Smart Card, you can go completely paperless. For logistics container labels, the elimination of paper labels reduces the number of labels that are misapplied or forgotten to be removed, and reduces waste. In the manufacturing industry, data linking with Smart Card is also possible.
