These Terms apply to repair services (hereinafter referred to as “repair work”) that Aioi System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “we” or “the Company”) performs at the request of users of the Company’s products (hereinafter “customers”).
The Company will provide services in accordance with these Terms; please use our services only after you have read and agreed to them.
1. We will repair the following Product:
Products manufactured and sold by the Company.
Other manufacturers’ products on which the Company’s part number is registered (specific conditions to be separately prescribed by the Company).
2. We cannot accept repairs in any of the following cases:
If supply of replacement parts has been discontinued.
If technical measures required for repair are infeasible or cannot be performed.
If the product has significant deterioration or damage due to aging (including cases as determined by the Company).
3. The repair support period for our products is, in principle, within 7 years from the end of sale of the relevant product.
Please understand that products older than this period are not eligible for repair or other maintenance services.
In addition, even within the above period, repairs may be unavailable if unforeseeable circumstances occur, such as the discontinuation of parts supply for reasons attributable to the manufacturer.
When we receive a repair request from a customer, we will perform the repair of the requested equipment (hereinafter the “subject equipment”) either free of charge or for a fee, depending on the condition of the subject equipment.
Regardless of whether the repair is free or paid, shipping costs for sending the subject equipment shall be as follows:
Shipping cost when the customer ships the subject equipment to the Company for repair: borne by the customer.
Shipping cost when we return the subject equipment to the customer after repair: borne by the Company.
Failures that occur within the warranty period from the date of purchase under conditions of normal use as defined by the Company are eligible for free repairs (warranty repairs).
However, the following cases are excluded from free repair eligibility:
Failures or damage resulting from improper handling by the customer, such as drops or impacts during transportation or movement after purchase.
Failures or damage caused by handling that violates the product's handling instructions or precautions described in the product or its user manual.
Failures or damage caused by fire, earthquake, lightning, other natural disasters, industrial pollution, salt damage, or abnormal voltage.
Failures or damage caused by non-Company equipment connected to the product, or by inappropriate consumables or storage media.
Failures or damage resulting from repairs or modifications performed by the customer or any third party other than the Company.
Failures or damage to consumable parts with limited lifespans (such as batteries) when the Company determines that the part has reached the end of its life within the warranty period due to the usage environment.
If the warranty period has expired, if there is no annual maintenance contract for the equipment with our company, or if the situation does not meet the terms of the maintenance agreement, repairs will be chargeable.
1. The received device will undergo diagnostic analysis to determine whether it is faulty and whether it can be repaired. For paid repairs, an analysis fee is charged regardless of whether a fault is found or repair work is performed.
As a general rule, if a fault is confirmed in one of our company's devices, we will proceed from analysis to repair work. Once the repair is completed, we will inform you of the estimated cost.
2. For products from other manufacturers, we will provide a repair estimate after we receive the equipment. With your approval of that estimate, we will proceed with the repair.
3. Even if you decide not to approve the repair based on the estimate or its details, please understand in advance that our analysis work may not be able to restore the equipment to its original condition.
1. Repair work, whether free of charge or paid, will be carried out by replacing components in units defined by our company as maintenance parts. In such cases, ownership of parts removed during the repair process shall belong to our company.
2. Labels affixed by the customer, and any customer-applied paint, engraving, or similar markings, will generally not be restored to their original condition when exterior parts are replaced during repair work. Please understand this in advance.

If, after completion of repair work, we determine that re-repair is required due to the same symptom and the same cause at the same location, we will perform the re-repair free of charge within 90 days from the date the repair work was completed or until the original warranty expiration date, whichever is later.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases are excluded from the re-repair warranty.
When the symptom is the same but the fault location differs during re-repair of the repaired item.
If the RP-number label affixed at the time of the previous repair completion has been peeled off or soiled so that the repair history cannot be confirmed.
If the failure is due to the customer's negligence (including cases determined by our company).
If the product has been processed, modified, or otherwise altered by the customer.
If the failure or damage is caused by natural disasters or other force majeure events.
3. Notwithstanding paragraph 1, for products of other manufacturers in which our part number is registered, the warranty period after repair shall follow the terms of the manufacturer's warranty.
If any of the following applies, you agree that, regardless of whether your whereabouts are unknown, you refuse to accept delivery, or for any other reason, ownership of the equipment in our custody will be deemed abandoned by you after the storage period of 180 days from the date we received it, and that we may dispose of the equipment by our prescribed method.
In addition, we may charge you for the costs incurred for that storage, the costs for disposal, and any repair or analysis costs already incurred.
If we have notified you of the repaired item's availability for return but you fail to take receipt of the equipment.
If, after presenting an estimate, you cancel the repair request but still fail to collect the equipment.
If more than 30 days pass from the date the estimate amount was presented and we have not received a response from you regarding the estimate.
Except for liabilities related to these terms, we shall not be liable for any loss of profit, special damages, damages arising from claims made against you by third parties, or any other liabilities.
If damage or malfunction occurs due to our negligence, we will, as a rule, repair the damage or malfunction free of charge. If repair is not possible, we will compensate you in an amount equal to the lower of: the depreciated residual value of the equipment, or the price of a currently available equivalent model.
We will not disclose or reveal to third parties any business or operational secrets, privacy, or personal information of customers that we learn through repair work. However, in the following cases, we may provide your personal information to third parties without obtaining your prior consent.

When necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain your consent promptly.
